Women’s March NYC 2018

Spread the love

Hey guys!!

This past weekend I went to the women’s march in New York City and it was one of the best times of my life.

I’m so glad I was able to experience this with my friends and sister! We had been a planning this for weeks and it lived up to every expectation. I made it a point this year to go to the march. Last year unfortunately I wasn’t able to go and I was bummed literally all year, therefore I KNEW I was making an appearance this time around.

My outfit was also planned in advance (go figure) and I made sure to include my staple jean jacket no matter the weather. It was 50 degrees so this outfit choice was risky yet rewarding.

I opted for a Future is Female shirt for this occasion.

Our signs were as perfect and punny as our outfits. We spent hours making signs at Casey’s on Sunday just to ensure that they’d be an equal mix of anger and puns, I’d say we accomplished that.

Yes, Eva’s sign has up written twice. No, we didn’t notice it.

Friends who march together, stay together.

Love these people and I wouldn’t have wanted to do it with anyone else! Being amongst like-minded people was amazing and I would 10/10 recommend.

Being in the crowd with these powerful men and women got me so excited for this year!! I am hopeful for the future of this country and I’m so happy to see women spearheading this movement.

Thanks for reading!
